<OVERVIEW>
Mt.Hachibuse is located on the other side of the alps in MAtsumoto city, and it holds 360 views including whole northern alps outlook. The hike starts from Tobira onsen, traditional Japanese onsen inn. Walking half way up by a running stream, it is beautiful green in spring and colorful foliage in autumn. The last half is a bit steep zigzagging up. The top view is absolutely stunning.

7:30 Meet at JR Matsumoto station and move to a trailhead
8:30 Start hiking
11:30 Summit and Lunch
12:30 Heading down
14:30 Back to trail head
15:00 JR Matsumoto Station
